And knackered. Someone remind me why I thought it was a good idea to go straight from Heathrow this morning to the travel mag.
Yesterday, I went shopping. The meetings finished at lunchtime, which would have left rather a long time to kill at the airport - five hours at an 'interesting' airport with widespread retail opportunities like Gatwick, Heathrow (except Terminal 2) or Schiphol is one thing, but in a typical American one, well, it's arm-chewing-off time.
So we asked them really nicely if the car that was due to take us from Cape Cod to Logan airport could possibly stop off en route at a shopping mall for a couple of hours, and look after our bags while a little retail therapy took place. 'Sure!' they said. Result.
Double result: this is the car they sent for us.

We fell about laughing when we saw it.
I was very bad. I broke my personal best in Victoria's Secret (it's now $303!). Bought Christmas presents for my nieces and nephews in Gap Kids. And might have also bought an iPod nano. But's that naughty. So I'm saying it very quietly. Shhhhh...
And now I'm home. The post brought three cheques while I was away. Hurrah. And an invite to the Arkema Christmas curry on the Monday before the Monday before Christmas. Double hurrah.
stu_n, have you had one? Or does Jukesy know you've moved over to the dark side?
I've just had a lovely long lie in the bath –
burge and
stu_n's Lush birthday present continues to bring joy – tonight's treat was a 'You've been mangoed' Luxury Bath Melt. Mmmmmm. And I'm dressed in some of my less lacy purchases from VS: my new work clothes pyjamas. The cat has just about decided she's not sulking at me any more. All I need to do now is work out where to start on the Sky+ box. Lost, I think.
