I just checked my email and overnight 239 had appeared. Most of them failure notices for a 'buy Viagra' email allegedly sent by someone called Alfredia from an address (sales@) one of my domain names, an address I've never used.

They're still pinging in now.

Anything I can do about it other than delete and ignore?

Just found three comments I'd not been aware of on my previous spamly post. I wondered what was going on. Then had a flash of inspiration.

Sure enough, as they contained my original post, it turns out the university spam filter had swept them into the spam folder alongside a press release about a new treatment for scabies. And, of course, a selection of bonus new spam.

D'oh!

Now I know the Viagra etc peddlers have a habit of mis-spelling the names of their wares in an effort to dodge spam filters. But this is silly. And didn't work.

Frighteningly, you can still just about tell that it's the 'increase your sperm volume' one.
