sarahxIn Paris, albeit briefly en route for a petrol overdose in Le Mans. We were overtaken by loads of Ferraris, Porsches and the like on the autoroute down here, all looking as though they'd had a special polish for the occasion. No prizes for guessing that they were headed for Le Mans too!
I'll gloss over the three hours it took us to get from about Charles de Gaulle on the A1 to my friends' place in south-west Paris. Including 45 minutes essentially going nowhere near the Stade de France. Just like the Blackwall Tunnel on a bad day.
I've just booked a room in this chateau for next Thursday on the way back. Went mad and went for one of the expensive rooms, too. Well, what the heck. The rest of our holiday accomodation is free (or as near as dammit).
Lovely sunny day here - off in search of a vineyard in Sancerre imminently!
