Strange how certain songs transport you straight back in time.

They just played 'Don't stop me now' by Queen on Radio 2. I was bouncing around the kitchen, singing along at the top of my voice (scarily I still remember all the words) and in my head it was Beverley Priest's 16th birthday party. The first time I ever got drunk. And boy, did I get drunk. Martini and cider, if I remember correctly.

I can't even remember it being in Shaun of the Dead... but then I've only watched it once and was being very seriously distracted by the Bloody Idiot Ex at the time!

I was a classy burd when I was 16. It's all been downhill since then. Clearly.

VERY welcome, and yes, I would love to hear how they fare. I love hearing about other people's gardens. Pics are necessary, of course. Let me know if there's anything else you want from my stores. I have a friend who relentlessly and remorselessly shares her discoveries of new garden things with me -- I've nicknamed her "Onan".
