03. what songs do you sing in the shower?
I don't. Too busy getting wet.
04. what did you fear was going to get you at night as a child?
I remember being scared silly by the tomato plants on my Granny Alice's spare bedroom windowsill when I was 7. I'd just read 'Day of the Triffids' and was convinced they were coming to get me.

Can't remember. May have been alcohol-induced.
06. what's in your pockets right now?
Tissues, yesterday's one-day travelcard and 60p
07. what colour are your bedroom walls?
Some vague off-white shade. Needs decorating. Needed decorating when I moved in more than eight years ago. You know how it is.
08. last thing that made you laugh?
One of the acts at Stand Up Drama at Madame JoJos last night - a very silly X Factor skit
09. nicknames your parents call you?
My dad has been known to call me 'Hairy' because it sounds a bit like 'Sarah'. Hmmm.
10. best bed sheets you had as a child?
I have no idea.
11. favourite childhood pet?
I didn't really have any - bro Simon had an albino hamster which he most imaginatively called Whitey, and my brothers had a selection of goldfish called Fido and Rover and things like that. We finally got a cat when I was 17 - my dad had always said 'No Pets' but then he came home with a kitten he'd fallen for on a farm where he'd been doing a job.
12. any pets now?
A mad cat called Ginola - she's tiny and a complete tart (with humans of the male variety: she doesn't get on with other cats)

Inny. Outies are horrid.

'YOU SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED A BLOODY CAR'
17. favourite bathroom?
I quite like mine. But a good bathroom has to have a full-length bath.
18. bake or broil?
'Broil' will be some strange American word for something or other, right?
19. black olives or green olives?
Either. As long as they're juicy.
20. what kind of cell phone do you own?
Nokia 6230. Like half the rest of the world.
21. what's one of the strangest things you ever chewed on?
Coca leaves
22. is your music kept in a particular order?
In theory, yes. In practice, entropy tends to creep in.
23. where do you get your film developed?
Boots, usually.
24. if your skin could be any colour of the rainbow, what would it be?
Purple. As my dad would say - to match my teeth. Ho ho ho.
25. where did you go to pre-school?
I didn't! But my mum did teach me to read at an alarmingly early age.
26. strangest drug experience?
Sonata (zaleplon) - prescribed hypnotic with a short onset of action and short half-life, so you can take them at 2am when you can't get to sleep. However, they make me hallucinate quite spectacularly.
27. favourite weather?
Hot and sunny.
28. describe your fingernails?
Too prone to breaking. I very rarely manage a full set of paintable ones. Three down at the moment.
29. last time you went to the hospital?
To casualty after the car accident in May, just-in-case.
30. worst injury you've ever had?
Probably after the bike-and-diplomatic-Mercedes incident as a third year undergraduate. Dislocated the top joint of my left thumb and broke the bone below it in three places. Nice. Whiplash from the big car accident still causes me problems more than six years on, mind.
31. how do you like your chocolate?
I'm rather partial to Leonidas Manon blanc choccies.

Charlie and the chocolate factory. Meant to be going to the pictures tonight, though. No idea yet what to see.
